As a third-year law student at the University of Pretoria, he has demonstrated strong academic engagement and professional growth. He has developed key skills in Microsoft Office, teamwork, and effective communication, which have contributed to both his academic success and personal development.As a General Assistant in the Department of Jurisprudence, he gained valuable administrative experience, improving his time management, adaptability, and organisational skills. His responsibilities included updating departmental records, assisting with facility maintenance, and supporting daily departmental operations. Working closely with academic staff further strengthened his professional relationships and teamwork abilities.

Warona Malambe is a high-achieving third-year LLB student at the University of Pretoria, consistently maintaining a distinction average throughout his first two years of study. His academic excellence was formally recognized with a position on the Dean’s Merit List for 2024, with a second consecutive award pending for 2025.Beyond academics, Warona is a proven student leader with a deep commitment to the university’s governance and culture. He currently serves as Registrar Justice, a role that follows his successful tenure as the Sports Officer for Law House.A well-rounded individual, Warona balances his rigorous legal studies with high-level athletics, competing for the Tuks 1st Team Basketball squad. He is also a passionate public speaker, combining analytical legal thinking with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Head Tutor

Mfundo Sithole is a third-year LLB student at the University of Cape Town with a strong interest in using law as a tool for positive societal change. His leadership journey, most notably as Head Student at Carinus Residence, provided early exposure to governance, conflict resolution, and building inclusive communities. These experiences continue to shape the perspective he brings to his legal studies. He is particularly interested in the role of law in promoting fairness, expanding access to justice, and addressing structural inequalities, especially those affecting students and young people in higher education. This interest informs both his academic work and his involvement in mentorship and community-focused initiatives at UCT. In the medium term, he aspires to serve within the National Prosecuting Authority, contributing to ethical and fair prosecution that strengthens public trust in the justice system. Long term, he aims to work at the intersection of law, policy, and governance to help build transparent, efficient, and just public institutions.
Outside his academic commitments, he enjoys Gospel and House music as a source of balance and inspiration.
